About People for People

People for People is a collective of entrepreneurs, founded by bunq, Bird, and Picnic, dedicated to providing rapid, efficient aid to people facing crisis or conflict. Our mission is to ensure essential support for those forced to flee their homes, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Collaboration and community action are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating diverse projects, including Rolling Aid Events, donation drives, and crisis relief efforts. You will report to the Project Manager Lead and collaborate with other colleagues to execute projects that make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and manage projects, both short and long term, including Rolling Aid Events, drop-offs, and crisis relief efforts.

  • Onboard, guide and engage volunteers who signed up via our website.

  • Communicate effectively with on-site location managers, donation partners, and external stakeholders in the Netherlands.

  • Implement experiments to optimize project setup and delivery for maximum impact.

Job requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in project or event management, preferably within NGO's.
  • Experience working with refugees or in crisis situations is a strong advantage.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello) and systems.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

What we offer

  • An employment contract with a minimum of 32 hours per week.
  • Offering a salary range in line with NGO standards of (€2.500 - €3.500 gross per month) with an additional 8% holiday allowance.
